From Don and Suzie Nunley

We arrived at the lake this afternoon. Hooray!
Tomorrow I go into town for violin class and Don will pick up his fishing boat. Life is good. But, we miss Palm Creek friends. See ya in the fall!

Our friends across the lake took this pic yesterday aft. The rainbow was literally ending on our house!

From Marg Ouimet

Hi Sue

Just read your blog this morning and it is really great to be able to keep up on the summer news from Palm Creek . A BIG thank you and great job.

Spruce Grove in Alberta and many other outdoor courts are opened in the Edmonton area. To all our fellow picklers we are playing.

Have a great summer

From Rich Cunrod in the Marshall Islands

Readers:  Rich Cunrod (I call him Flip Flop because of his home and lifestyle) lives in the beautiful Marshall Islands way out there in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.  He recently purchased a park model at Site 934.

From Rich:

Hi there, I certainly do not have to contend with that white snowy stuff.  We have finally gotten out of our drought to some extent.  We were around 12 inches behind norm and now we are only 6.25 inches behind. Rain is needed for our lens wells. Windy season starting to pick up some and the open ocean is 7-9 foot waves.

Here is one of our roads.

from Terry and Jean Turner

We arrived home April 3 and the next day it looked like this. That's not snow. It's hail. That was followed by a thunderstorm. Then a few days later it snowed. Then when that was gone...it snowed again. We came home too soon. The good news is it's nice and warm and sunny now.

From Ron and Sue Bernth in Hudson, Wisconsin

We are really tired of the snow.  We left PC on April 15 and after a stay in Omaha, NE to see family arrived in Hudson, WI on the 21st.  Since then we have had 70 degree days (2 to be exact) and have had 2 huge snowstorms.  The first one dropped 7 inches but the latest one on MAY 1 delivered 11 inches.  I will send you a pix of the latest storm-its on my phone and have had all kinds of computer/router issues since we got home.  Where is Don when you need him?  There will be no early departures next year!  Take care, Ron and Sue Bernth

Myron & Ricki Persing

We ALL owe a special thank you to Myron and Ricki for ALL the work they do here at Palm Creek.  They are in charge of all the Greeters who welcome guests to the resort.

To Myron:  Write to me with a list of all the projects you two organize and I'll publish it here.

Hello our PC Friends

We are here with our son in Roseville Ca. and enjoying the summer. We plan a summer of travel to SD, Ill, and all points in between. We spent Sunday sailing on the bay. Watched  some of the Americas Cup crews training for the races this summer.
