Sue,
We had what the weather people are calling a mini F2 tornado rip through
our town in Northwest Iowa Labor Day weekend. The winds were clocked at 70 to 85
mph. We lost a couple of big trees and damages to other trees but no one was
hurt and the house wasn't damaged. We lost power for 2 days and quickly realized
how much we depend on electricity. Other people in the neighborhood didn't fare
as well when trees fell on houses and cars. But fortunately no one was
hurt.
Here are some photos for your blog.
